Black Friday Outfit Ideas and Tips

Hi dear readers.

I created these outfit ideas specially for Black Friday, since you are going to be running around, you need to be comfortable. I put together 2 outfits. One for a cold day and the other for a colder day.  Don't forget to check my tips down below for your shopping day. I hope you like them. Happy Thanksgiving!!

My Black Friday Shopping Tips

1. Have a budget so that you will not over spend
2. Review your wardrobe before going shopping, so you don’t buy duplicates or stuff that doesn’t go with anything.
3. Make a list of The Must Gifts you are planning to buy since the holidays are coming. Do not forget to ask for gift receipts.  
4. Since you already know what you need. You can check many store websites to see which price sticks to your budget. You can buy it online or you can buy it at the store. Don’t forget to print the coupons.
5. Check the Mall schedule. They will have a list of all the stores and the discounts they offer.
6. Wearing comfortable shoes is a must, so that you can run around.
7. A cross-body handbag is more comfortable to have. You will have both hands free.
8. Limited items. Wallet, cellphone, coupons, a bottle of water, some snacks or chewing gums, and ponytail holders in case your hair gets in your way.
9.  Do not get tempted to buy things you don’t need. Remember your budget and stick to it.

Multi Twist Jersey Dress

Last Saturday, My husband and I went out to continue celebrating our Third Anniversary. It was a beautiful night of romanticism, music, great food and the best company, him :D . I wanted to wear a dress and I think that this one was suitable for the occasion. I felt drawn by the blue hints of the dress, that's why I choose to pair it with these blue pumps and also I wore blue eye shadow (it wasn't a loud color though, it was good :). I kept my accessories simple because the thing I wanted to stand out was the print of the dress. I hope you like this Outfit Idea. What do you tend to wear for your anniversary?

The Power of the Green Ponte Dress

I have been looking for a dress in this green color since I watched one of the Kahlua commercials where the actrees Ana de la Reguera wore a green dress. I fell-in-love with that color and I knew I would have to find something similar. So, when I saw this dress on the website of Dorothy Perkins, I added it to my shopping bag right away. 

Yesterday was my third anniversary. and I posted on my blog a SOS, needing help, because I didn't know what to wear to a surprise dinner with my husband. I had planned this outfit in my mind, but had intended to wear it for this weekend coming since we had already made plans. 

I ended up following my heart, and I wore my brand new green dress and leopard pumps for one of the most important occasions in my life. I'm glad I wore this outfit because my husband loved it a lot, he said I look very wifey, beautiful and classy and sexy :D .  I'm blessed and happy to have found the love of my life. Now, I have to plan my outfit for this coming Saturday night ;)

Equestrian Prints

 horsies horsies !!! I love horses, and so when I first saw this type of print for Fall/Winter, I felt in love with it. This print reminds me of the panthera tie blouse by Marc Jacobs which is too expensive for my wallet!!!. It’s a good thing to have affordable stores such as Forever21 in order to fulfill our cravings ;) 

 This is a classic black outfit with a fun and chic cardigan. I enjoyed pairing it with these gorgeous red wedges and also with this cute clutch that has a red zipper putting the whole outfit together in a nice coordination. The color of the clutch is similar to the horses and the color of the zipper to the wedges.

Unexpected Outfit

 Hi girls, Have you always have had time to prepared what you are going to wear? No, right, me neither heheehe..so that’s why sometimes, we have to improvise, just like the day I wore this outfit. We had to go for a dinner with a friend right after I left college. I wanted to look more fashion forward, so I threw on these cool boots and wore this great bag. How great that some accessories and a cool pair of shoes can turn an easy low profile outfit into a more styled one.  I got these beautiful boots for $39.00 originally $189.00 that’s why I love www.ideeli.com/invite/whisperingstyle I recently got this F21 shirt for $15.80.

Houndstooth Trend. Fall-Winter 2011/2012

I've seen this trend everywhere. If you have had this trend sleeping in your closet for years, now it's the time to pull it off. Some Celebrities are already rocking this trend. You can rock houndstooth patterns from head to toe like Lady Gaga or wear it on the top or bottom. And, if this is too much for you, you can try to add a touch of Houndstooh in your accessories like Ashley Greene's bag and Eva Rachel Wood's shoes. Try to have fund and tell me how it goes. work it girl, work it !
ps: I can't wait to find some clothes or accessories so I can rock this trend :) ! If I knew this trend would be so strong right now, I would have kept a sweater that I got when I was a teen hehehe.
