Sunshine with Yellows and Red

shine, shine, baby shine !!! Have fun with what you wear and inspire others to do so. This summer bring a little sunshine to your palette. You'll see that these colors are going to make magic when you put them together. Yellows and Reds are one pretty combination to try. Here, I combined pastel lemon, bold red and bright yellow. Also, I made a peplum illusion with my top by adding a skinny belt. I hope you enjoy this outfit idea.

Amarillos y rojos es un combinacion linda para tratar. Aqui vesti colores limon pastel, rojo y amarillo vibrante. Tambien agregue la ilusion peplo en mi top al agregar este cinturon delgado a la cintura. Espero les guste esta idea de vesuario.

DIY Earrings

I think most of us have many pieces of jewelry that we don't use anymore. Why not take them and turn them  into something new? That is exactly what I did.

Español: Creo que muchas de nosotras tenemos joyas que ya no usamos mas. Porque no convertirlas en nuevas piezas de joya? Eso es exactamente lo que hice.

What I Used

• An old necklace ( my old faux pearl necklace).
• An old pair of earrings.
• Pliers ( I ended up using this one to close the rings). 
• Tweezer (artcraft or regular one). 
• Super glue ( I used this one ). 
• In this case I made these flowers out of clay and painted them with acrylic paint ( I used this one).Before putting them in the oven I added a hoop. That is where I added the chains later on.

Español:  Lo que Use

• Un collar viejo que tenga perlitas y cadenitas
• Un par de aretes viejos
• Pinzas, yo use este
• Pinza
• Pegamento poderoso, yo use este
• En este caso hice estas flores de barro ceramico (Yo use este). Antes de ponerlo en el horno, agregue aritos de metal para despues unir las cadenitas alli.

Step 1
Apply super glue on the back of the flower.
Español: Aplica el super pegamento en la parte de atraz de la flor.

Leave the glue to dry while you keep working with the rest of the project.

Español: Deja que se seque mientras sigues trabajando en el resto del proyecto.

Step 2: I detached the chains from both pieces of jewelry.

Español: Separe las cadenitas del collar y de los aretes

Step 3: Put the chains together on the big ring

Español: Pone las cadenitas juntas en el arito.

Step 4: Place it on the back of the flower using an extra ring.

Español: Unilos en la parte de atraz de la flor usando un extra arito.

And Voilà !!!!

Y listo !!!!

 You could use another type of bob where you can attach chains. I would love to read your commentaries. I hope you like this DIY ^^ !!!

Grey and Colorful Accessories

I wore this outfit to go to the movie theater Friday night. I had to wear ballerina flats because I had to run (we were running late). I had in mind wearing my grey skirt, blazer and flats but I wasn't sure about the accessories. When I opened my closet I saw my green handbag showing up behind my other bags. I knew it's been years since I have used it, so I thought it was time to use it again. It comes in handy since it's summer and this handbag has a nice floral design all over (the color looks much prettier in person). I gave it a try. Do you have things in your closet that you haven't used in years? Do you want to give it a try again?. Make sure you like it and you enjoy it using it :) !

Español: Vesti esta ropa para ir a ver una pelicula el Viernes en la noche. Tuve que vestir ballerinas porque tuve que correr ya que estabamos corto en tiempo. Y sabia que queria vestir mi falda gris con el balzer y ballerinas del mismo color. No estaba segura en cuanto a los accessorios. Cuando abri mi closet vi el color verde de mi cartera que estaba detraz de las otras. Yo se que hace mucho tiempo que no la uso, asi es que me dije la usare otra vez (el color se ve mas lindo en vivo) Asi le di otra oportunidad. Tu tienes cosas en tu armario que ya no usas hace mucho tiempo? Le quieres dar otra oportunidad? Asegurate que te guste y que lo disfrutes :) !

Wear Sequins Casual

Have you thought about wearing your sequined clothes in a casual way? During Memorial weekend, I thought about it and I went for it. We usually relate sequins with parties or glamorous gatherings. This time I wanted to give it a twist by teaming it up with a simple white t-shirt (since sequins are already the center of attention). I kept my accessories minimal but colorful. I tried two types of shoes, a pair of white flats and a pair of black sandals (I felt comfortable wearing both of them).
ps:  I have to fix this skirt because it's a bit big hehehe..

A few tips:

• If you wear a sequined dress in the day don't try to accessorize a lot by wearing too much jewelry since your sequins already give bling.
• Try to throw your sequined blazer or jacket over a pair of jeans.

Has pensado en usar lentejuelas de una forma casual? Durante la semana de Memorial Day, lo pensé y lo hice. Usualmente relacionamos lentejuelas con fiestas o reuniones glamorosos. Esta vez quería darle un giro diferente vistiendo una simple camiseta blanca (ya que lentejuelas ya son el centro de atención). Mantuve mis accesorios minimalistas, pero colorido. Intenté dos tipos de zapatos, un par de ballerinas blancas y un par de sandalias negras (me sentí cómodo vistiendo ambos).

pd: Voy a tener que adaptar esta falda, porque es un poco grande jijiji..

Consejos: 

• Si usted va a usar lentejuelas en el día no vistas muchas joyas ya que tus lentejuelas ya tienen brillo. 
• Intenta de vestir blazer o chaqueta de lentejuelas con un par de jeans.
