Hola lindas! Muchas blogueras ya estan vistiendo su ropa de Primavera y cada vez que las veo me da frio. Y digo eso ya que por aqui parece que el frio todabia no nos quiere dejar. Hoy dia por ejemplo esta haciendo de sensacion termica 5° bajo cero!! ( -5° C). Hoy estoy vistiendo este look (cuyas fotos fueron sacadas a principio del Invierno), pero la diferencia es que llevo bufanda y guantes puestos :)
Una camisa blanca con botones y vaqueros siempre van de la mano. Me encanta este abrigo por su toque indigena en el estampado y al ser mesclado con estas botas y cartera lo torna en una honda Oeste, cierto? (o capaz que solo yo pienso eso). Asi es que lo clasico con un toque loco y especial en el estampado y tendremos un look interesante, y que gusta a los ojos.

Hi beautiful! Many bloggers are already wearing spring clothes, but whenever I see them I feel cold. And I say that because around here it seems that winter just won't leave. Today it feels like 22° degrees outside. (That's 10 below freezing!) Today I am wearing this look,(these pictures were taken at the beginning of winter), but right now I added scarf and gloves.
A button down white shirt, and jeans always look good together. I love the coat because of the native american vibe, and when mixed with the leather boots and bag, it gives a wild west feel. So, a classic base with a fun touch can make a whole look more interesting and pleasing to the eyes.

Hola hermosas! Esta fue mi ultima idea de vestuario para uno de los ultimos dias bien frios de este Invierno. Muy feliz de haber estado rodeada por nieve. La nieve hace que todo se vea tan lindo, magico y soñador, cierto?. Bueno, esta idea les vendra bien a ustedes que viven en paises donde el frio se esta aproximando. Todo negro con unos toques rojos. El sueter tiene piedritas ❤ . Cuidense y que tengan una semana bendecida y prodcutiva.

Hi bellas! This outfit was my last outfit idea for one of the last very cold days we had. I was very happy that I was surrounded by snow. I love snow! Boho Layering

Hoy tuvimos un dia lindo. Invierno todabia sigue aqui, pero parece que La Primavera quiere venir pronto. El clima nos permitio dejar de lado los abrigos grandes/gruesos, pero no olvidarnos de unos chalequitos de piel artificial. Siempre vienen bien para mantenernos abrigaditas (vesti este atuendo - las fotitos fueron directo de mis archivos).
Me encanta como se ve este atuendo mesclado con este cardigan el cual tiene una honda bohemica/hippie. Agregar este sombrero fue una buen idea ya que acentua mas el estilo bohemio. A proposito, estos tipos de sombreros seran una tendencia para esta Primavera, nada mas mira el video de Wendy William's y aqui tambien. Espero les guste esta idea.

Today, we had a beautiful day. Winter is still here, but it seems that Spring wants to arrive soon. The weather allowed me to forget a heavy coat, but go with a faux-fur vest ;) (wore this, but pics are from my archives).
I really like how this layering outfit looks. I liked pairing this vest with this boho/hippie cardigan and enjoyed wearing these earthy colors. I think that the whole outfit has the kind of feeling of bohemian/ hippie, right?. I added the hat to see how I would have wore it during the day, when the sun is up (it didn't stop me from wearing it for the pics though hehehe). btw, this type of hat is trendy for this Spring season, just watch The Wendy Williams Show, and here too. I hope you enjoy this Outfit Idea.

Playing with Textures: Gold and Green Nails

My love for textured nail polish started when I was doing jewelry craft. You tend to damage your nails a lot when working with the tools and chemicals, and I noticed that they endured better when I used these types of nail polish. Even though I'm on hiatus from the jewelry making, I still enjoy playing with textures on my nails.

Mi amor por esmalte de uñas con textura empezo cuando hacia joyas de metal. Las uñas siempre se deterioran al trabajar con herramientas y quimicos, pero despues de usar este tipo de esmaltes note que las protegia mas. Y ahora aunque me tome un descanso de trabajar con mis manos (problemas de ligamento-dedo), sigo usando texturas en mis uñas. Me gusta :) 

1. First I apply a base coat (which I forgot to take a picture of). Primero puse un esmalte de base protector (me olvide de tomar foto).
2. Then I apply the color coat, (in this case the green), usually about 3 coats. Aplique el color verde como tres capas.
3. And finally I apply the matte texture (also on the gold). Y al final aplique el esmalte mate. Me encanta ya que torna cualquier color en mate :)

Usually these colors would be very shimmery and reflective but the matte only lets a little through, which gives it an interesting effect. Estos timpos de esmaltes son bien brillosos, pero el mate hace que el brillo solo se vean un poquito lo cual lo hace ver mas interesante y atractivo.

(Mate) Matte: Nicole by OPI "Matte Top Coat".
