Black and White. That Little Black Dress

A classy little black dress is a must in a woman's closet. They come in handy for those days that you don't know what to wear.We can add any type of accessories from bold colors to print colored ones. For this night, I only wanted to add white accessories, such as my white belt, watch, earrings and handbag. Next time I will go for all pink accessories ;) ! Hope you like this idea.

Un vestido negro es un clasico y pienso que todas deberiamos tener aunque sea uno en nuestros closets. Vienen re bien para esos dias que uno no sabe que vestir. Podemos agregarle todo tipo de accesorioes, desde colores enteros hasta accessorios de diseños coloridos. Para esta ocasion quise agregar accesorios de color blanco, como estos aretes, reloj, cinturon y bolso. Para la proxima vez, agregare accesorios en color rosado ;) ! Espero les guste esta idea.

DIY: Protect Your Jewelry / Protege Tus Joyas

 Hi dolls !
There are many ways to protect your jewelry. For those that are not made out of gold or sterling silver, you can store them in soft cloth bags or protect them with clear nail polish. Yes, nail polish! I learnt this trick in my art jewelry class. You know that many fashion jewelry pieces can turn dark or get scratched. Nail polish can protect their color.  As you can see on the piece above, the scratches on the piece are covered and smoothed by the application of a coat of clear polish.

Hay varias maneras de proteger tus joyas. Para esas piezas que no son de oro o de plata, se puede guardar en bolsitas de tela de algodon o se pueden proteger usando esmalte de uñas. Asi es, esmalte de uñas! Aprendi este truquito en mi clase de arte de joyas. Tu sabes que muchas piezas de fantasia se vuelven negras o dejan color en tus dedos, a nadie les gusta eso, pero no te preocupes que el esmalte protegera que se vuelvan asi. 
Si compraste alguna joyas de fantasia y estan rayadas, podes aplicar el esmalte en ellas. Como veras en la foto de arriba, el antes y el despues.

On these pieces I applied a coat of clear polish to the metal portions, and in the case of the earrings I applied it to the stones.

En estas piezas aplique el esmalte transparente en los metales, y en el caso de los aretes azules en las peidritas.

Chic Casual Look: Pretty in Pink

Hi beautiful people! the weekend is almost here and I wanted to share another casual outfit idea. This is the first time I walked around my neighborhood and I wanted to do it looking cute ;) 

I heard that wearing monochromatic colors will elongate your silhouette and make you appear taller. I believe that, and I also think that there are other tricks that will make you look tall. For example, I think if I wear this shirt tuck in and my hair up, I will add a 'few imaginary' inches to my height (I would definitely wear heels to add real inches hehehe). I will wear this same outfit using those tricks in another time, meanwhile, I enjoyed this loose casual look. I hope you like it.

Hola bellezas! El fin de semana ya se acerca y queria compartir esta idea de ropa casual con ustedes. 

Esta es la primera vez que salgo a caminar un poco alrededor en mi barrio y queria lucir bonita ;)

Escuche que vestir monocromaticos colores elongara tu silueta y te hara ver un poco mas alta. Yo creo que si es verdad, y tambien pienso que hay otros truquitos para hacernos ver un poquin mas altas. Por ejemplo, yo pienso que si visto esta camisa dentro y mi pelo recogido, agregaran unas 'imaginarias pulgadas' a mi estatura (a parte, vestiria tacos para si verme alta ijijijii). Vestire este mismo atuendo incluyendo esos consejitos para otra ocasion, mientras tanto, me encanto vestir esta camisa suelta y chatitas para un dia de caminata por el barrio. Espero les guste :) !

ZARA Pastel Pink Ombre Shirt

Here is another way I wore this ombre shirt. There are so many ways to wear clothes. I could wear this shirt with denim shorts, white shorts, bold pencil skirts, or midi skirts, even with black jeans and a blazer. One tip to have in mind when we buy clothes is that if we find more than 3 ways to wear, then it's worth it.

Aqui hay otra idea de como vesti esta remerita. Hay muchas maneras de vestir una prenda. Podria vestir esta remerita con shorts blancos, pasteles, o jeans shorts, con jeans negro y un blazer. Tambien con faldas de un solo color, blanco, negro y hasta con faldas largas. Un consejito para tener en mente cuando compramos prendas es buscar las maneras de vestirla como minimo en 3 diferentes formas. 

I only wore heels for an early activity, but as you can see, I wore flat sandals later on.

Como veran, ya para la tarde use sandalias chatitas. Solo use tacos para una actividad que teniamos temprano.

Jamaican Colors Outfit

 Hi dolls, last Monday was Jamaica's Independence Day and to honor that, I wore the colors of the flag. My husband was very pleased with it since he is Jamaican ;) !

DIY Home Improvement and Nail Art.

Two ideas for this weekend. Nail art and home improvement. 

Dos ideas para este fin de semana. Arte en tus uñas y Mejorar tu hogar.

Here is a picture of the before and after of the chairs I'm improving. I used 'Bulldog hardware upholstery nails' from Walmart.
If this is your first time working on a project like this one, you have to have in mind that you might need an extra packet of nails for each chair. I say that because I bent many nails while hammering. This chair has 88 upholstery nails. There are 30 in each packet. I think this project is going to test our patience.

Aqui les dejo una fotito de el antes y despues. Use 'Bulldog hardware upholstery nails' que compre en Walmart.
Si esta es tu primera vez trabajando en un projecto asi, tenes que tener presente que quizas necesites un paquete extra de estos clavitos. Digo esto porque mientras clavaba doble varios de estos clavos. Esta silla lleva 88 clavitos de decoracion. Cada paquete trae 30. Creo que este projecto testeara nuestra paciencia.

Bulldog Hardware Upholstery Nails

Nail art inspired by the flowers on my balcony. For the dots I used the tip of a hair clip. I made uneven lines for the leaves using a toothpick.

Arte en mis uñitas inspiradas por las flores que tengo en mi balcon. Para hacer los lunares use la punta de un ganchito de pelo. Para el efecto de hojas use un palito de dientes.
