Navy Blue and Black Outfit. Peplum Silhouette

Hi beautiful people! I hope you started your week off on a good foot. 

Have ever worn navy and black? I just realized that these two hues have become one of my favorite color combinations and I'm looking forward wearing them during fall and winter. Not to wear navy and black is one of the 'rules' I'm happy to break. I think as long as you can tell the difference between these colors its fine. If you want to spice it up, you can add colorful details like I did here by pairing them with these green heels, yellow clutch and turquoise necklace ;). So, overall, navy blue and black go nicely together and they work for me. I hope you enjoy this idea as much as I do. Have fun playing around with your clothes and keep this combination in mind (give it a chance). 

ps: Adding another peplum top to my wardrobe is great. I like to wear this cut because it accentuates the womanly shape of an hourglass. I love this extra fabric that adds the illusion of hips to my body ;)

Hola bella gente! Espero que hayan empezado su semana con el pie derecho.

Han vestido los colores azul y negro juntos? Me he dado cuenta que estos colores se han covertido en uno de mis favoritas combinaciones y planeo vestirlos durante este otoño/ invierno. No vestir azul marino y negro es una de las 'reglas' que estoy encantada en romper. Creo que mientras se pueda ver la diferencia entre ellos esta bien. Si quieres darle un toque mas lindo a tu ropa, puedes vestir accesorios coloridos como hice aqui combinandolos con estos tacos verdes, sobre amarillo y collar turquesa. Al final, azul marino y negro se ven re lindos y para mi funciona. Espero te haya gustado esta idea como a mi. Diviertete jugando con tu ropa, poniendolas juntas, combinandolas y ten en mente esta combinacion (dale una oportunidad).

pd: Es buenisimo gregar otro top peplo en mi closet. Me gusta este corte porque acentua la forma femenina. Me encanta esa extra tela que agrega la ilusion de caderas a mi silueta ;)

Royal Blue and Yellow Combination

Hi beautiful people. I hope you like this idea.

Last Sunday was a little cold and I was glad because I wanted to wear this gorgeous blazer. I wore this outfit to go to church.

I find this color combo captivating. Royal blue and yellow look so good together and I love pairing them with black accessories. It just reminds me of Van Gogh's painting "Starring Night" and Dory, the short-term memory loss fish from Finding Nemo.

El Domingo pasado estuvo un poquito frio lo cual me gusto ya que queria vestir este bello blazer. Vesti esta ropa para ir a la iglesia.

Encuentro esta combinacion de color cautivadora. Azul y amarillo se ven bien lindo juntos y me encanta combinarlo con accesorios negros. Me hace recordar de la famosa pintura de Van Gogh llamada " Satrring Night" y tambien de Dory el pescadito de memoria corta en la pelicula de Buscando a Nemo.

DIY Gold Highlighted Frame

I was looking for some gold frames to redecorate my love nest. I found a few nice ones in TJMax. I like the craft work of the wood (we know these are not handcrafted, but they have that vibe), but I still wanted to add something. In this case, I wanted to accentuate the highlights. 

What I Used:

• A Frame.
• Metallic Brilliant Gold Spray, Krylon brand. (I got it from Walmart)
• A brush
• And a paper plate

Estuve buscando algunos cuadros dorados para re-decorar mi nidito de amor. Encontre unos muy lindos en la tienda de TJMax. Me encanto el trabajo en la madera ( sabemos que no son hechos a mano, de todas maneras tiene esa viba), pero quise agregar algunos toquesitos. En este caso, le agregue unos toques dorados para acentuar el relieve del diseño.

Lo Que Use:

• Un cuadro.
• Pintura metalica marca 'Krylon' (lo compre en Walmart)
• Una brochita
• Y un platito descartable de papel

Step 1:
Spray a small amount of the paint on the paper plate (only a little because it tends to dry out very fast)

Paso 1 
Rosea un poquito de pintura en el platito (solo un poco porque se seca rapido).

Step 2:
Quickly, using the hard brush give small touches to the places you want to highlight.
You repeat as much as you think is needed.

Paso 2
Rapido, con la brochita dale unos toques en los diseños a resaltar.
Podes repetir cuanto sea necesario basado en tu gusto.

And Voila!
You can translate this idea to other objects to pump them up.

Y listo! 
Podes usar esta idea para resaltar otros objetos que gustes.

Flower Power. H&M Floral Top and Asos Skirt

Sometimes we stop ourselves from trying new things because we are afraid that we might fail. 

I know that floral print look good when matched with solid color, but I believe that we should push our boundaries testing new ways like I did here. I have to be honest, I wasn't sure trying two different pieces with the same theme, but I gave it a try. 

One feature that made this work is that the background color of both pieces are the same. It brings all together.  

One tip to try floral print on top and bottom is that one should be small patterns and the other big patterns. I didn't have those, but some how these tow pieces worked together for me. It was in harmony.

I hope you like this.

I wore this for a night out dinner with friends.

ps: I'm planning in wearing these pieces during Fall/Winter as well ;)

A veces nos paramos a nosotros mismos de tratar nuevas cosas por temor a que no salga bien.

Yo se que los estampados florales se bien cuando se visten con colores solidos, pero tambien creo que debemos de empujar nuestros limites para tratar nuevas maneras, como lo hice aqui. Tengo que ser honesta que no estuve segura de vestir dos piezas diferentes con el mismo tema, pero igual le di un intento. 

Una cosita que hizo que todo se vea bien, fue el color de el fonde de las dos piezas. Como veras es negro y eso trajo a todo el look junto en armonia.

Un consejito para vestir estampados florales es que una de las piezas sea en pequeñas flores y la otra en grandes, ya que asi dara un balance a todo el look. 

Espero les guste esta idea.

Vesti este look para una cena de noche con amistades.

pd: Estoy planeando vestir estas dos piezas en Otoño/Invierno tambien ;)

Zig Zag Patterns 'Unzig Me Top' Tobi

Hi beauties !
Who likes to pair fun tops with jeans? I do :)!
I really like the color and the patterns of this top. You can tell I like this hue because I added more orange shades to the outfit . I have to say that I'm not so happy about the cut of this shirt though. As you can see the design accentuates the shoulders/arms. You know I don't like to make my shoulders look bigger since they already are a bit broad. I think this type of design will look much better on those who have small upper frame. When you buy tops make sure that they won't make your shoulders look bigger (if you have  a broad frame). Anyways, I will still rock this top with my hair down to compensate.

A quien no le gusta combinar tops lindos y divertidos con jeans? A mi me gusta!
Me encanta el color y las rayas de este top. Y como veras, me gusta este color que hasta agregue mas accesorios de la misma familia de colores. Tengo que decir que no estoy muy contenta en cuanto a el corte de este top. Si puedes notar, el diseño acentua la espalda y los hombros. Como sabras, no me agrada mucho hacer ver mi espalda mas grande de lo que es. Creo que este tipo de corte le queda mejor a aquellas que tiene proporciones pequeñas. Cuando compres tops, asegurate que no te hagan ver mas grande de lo que eres (esto es en caso que tengas proporciones grandes de espalda). De todas maneras, vestire este top con mi pelo largo suelto para cortar con esa ilusion.
