What a beautiful day today is, so how about wearing white ;) Sometimes 'fashion rules' are silly . They say that we should not wear white after Labor Day to which I disagree. I think we can wear whatever we want and I think that white jeans look good all year round. It's all about how you style it and it's all about the weather. We can even wear them during a beautiful snow day because they look cute with a long cozy sweater and boots.White jeans are like a blank canvas because pretty much anything can go with them. I'm looking forward wearing them during this coming winter :) !
Tip For Colder Days: Wearing white jeans with a blazer or mixing them with fall colors is a great way to go.

Que hermoso dia es hoy, asi es que honda si vestimos blanco ;) A veces las reglas de la moda son tontitas. Se dice que no debemos vestir jeans blancos despues del dia del trabajador a lo cual no estoy de acuerdo. Creo que podemos vestir cualquier cosa que querramos y creo que jeans blancos se ven bien todo el año. Todo es sobre como lo vistas y como este el dia (clima). Hasta lo podemos vestir durante un dia de nieve en invierno, porque se ven re lindos con un sweater grande y botas. Jeans blancos son como un lienzo limpio porque podes pintarlos/vestirlos con casi todo. Ya no veo la hora de vestirlos durante este invierno que viene :) !
Consejitos Para Dias Mas Frios: Vestir vaqueros blancos con un blazer o mesclarlos con colores de Otoño puede ser una buena salida.

Hi dolls! How is the weather around there? We had a rainy day today. I thought about wearing something to brighten the gloom like this floral skirt with a simple white tee. I pulled out the blue of the leaves for the shoes, and the reddish colors of the flowers for my nail polish. I chose to wear a rhinestone necklace and a gorgeous tungsten ring thanks to Modern Design. It's great how statement jewelry can spice up an outfit and make it look chic.

Hola bellezas! Como esta el clima por alli? Nosotros tuvimos un dia bien nublado y con lluvias. Asi es que pense en agregar brillo y flores al dia. Vesti esta falda floral con una remera/top/polo bien simple a lo que agregue un collar de piedras y un anillo tungsteno gracias a Modern Design. Que hermoso como unas joyas pueden hacer que el atuendo se vea bello y sofisticado. Rescate el color de las hojas para la decision de que zapatos usar y el color de las rosas para el color de mis uñas. 

I wanted to make special mention of this tungsten ring I received from Modern Design. It is a gorgeous highly polished piece. As an art metal-smithing student, I was very impressed with the smoothness of the shine and  high polish and the flawless work. I chose this ring because I wanted to share it with my husband, so it has a bit more of a unisex style. I was very pleasantly surprised by the price. It is beautiful. I'm going to rock this baby all year around :) Would you wear your husband's ring? How would you rock a unisex ring?

Quiero hacer una mencion especial sobre este anillo que recibi de Modern Design. Es una pieza hermosa de alto brillo. Como estudiante de orfebreria de arte, estuve impresionada de la suavidad, el brillo y la alta calidad del trabajo. Elegi este anillo asi mi esposo lo usa tambien, ya que tiene una honda unisex. Me quede mas que impresionada y hasta con el precio. Es un anillo bien lindo y lo voy a usar durante todo el año (bueno, tomaremos turno con mi amado jijijii) Tu usaria algun anillo de tu esposo? Como vestirias un anillo unisex?

Hello everyone, It seems that I kind of want to hold onto Summer lol. Since we still have warm days, I wanted to share these casual summery looks. As you can see I really like to feel comfortable, more so  when I will be doing a lot of walking around. If you feel like wearing shorts while Summer is still here go ahead, and to my friends who live in countries where Spring is about to start, enjoy these ideas.

Hola a todas, parece que no quiero dejar que el Verano se vaya jejeje. Como todabia tenemos dias calentitos, quise compartir estas ideas de vestuario casuales de shorts. Como sabras a mi me gusta vestir comoda y mas aun si se trata de pasar un dia afuera y caminando. Si sentis de vestir shorts mientras que tengas dias calentitos, aprovechalo y para mis amigas que viven en paises donde se viene la Primavera y Verano, espero les guste estas ideas.

Look 1: I wore it to walk around Georgetown DC and I played with the water along with kids hehehe..Sometimes I like to do spontaneous things ;)

Vestuario 1: Vesti esta ropa para caminar por las calles de DC y jugar un ratito con el agua junto con los niños jejeje.. A veces me gusta hacer cosas espontaneas ;)

Look 2: I wore this outfit to walk along the river in Maryland. It was such a beautiful afternoon with  my husband and nature.

Atuendo 2: Vesti esta ropa para un dia de caminata a las orillas de un rio en Maryland. Fue una hermosa tarde junto a mi esposito y la naturaleza.

Look 3: I wore this to run some errands. I usually tend to add items that have hippie or bohemian vibes like this bag, earrings and a necklace which I made :)

Earthy Colors Look - Colores Tierra Atuendo

I like how Wikipedia define the meaning of Earthy colors. I quote "Earth tone is a color scheme that draws from a color palette of browns, tans, greys, greens, oranges, whites, blues and some reds. The colors in an earth tone scheme are muted and flat in an emulation of the natural colors found in dirt, moss, trees and rocks. Many earth tones originate from clay earth pigments, such as umber, ochre, andsienna."
You see, earthy colors doesn't have to be lifeless. We should get inspired by them when we don't know what to wear.
I like the jeans I wore because of the orange shades. I wanted to add a bright pop of color by wearing these yellow pumps painted by me. Check it out how to do it here.

Here's a wonderfully earthy palette of brown, green, and orange.

Earthy doesn't mean lifeless. These shades of brown and tan are enlivened with a bright teal accent.

Shades of brown and a touch of gray with a dark earthy orangy red.

These dusky shades of purple, pink, and blue have an earthy tone without a single shade of brown.

Me gusta como Wikipedia da la definicion de Colores Tierra. Ellos lo definen asi "los tonos tierra son colores que vienen de una paleta de colores como los marrones, bronzeados, grises, verdes, anaranjados, blancos, azules y algo de rojos. Estos colores son encontrados en la tierra, arboles y rocas. Muchos colores tierra som originados de los pigmentos de la tierra como el amber, ochre y siena." 
Ya ves, colores tierra no quiere decir que sean colores sin vida. Deberiamos inspirarnos en estos colores tierra cuando no tengamos idea de que vestir. 
Me gusta estos pantalones que vesti porque tiene toquecitos de color naranja. Quise agregar colores llamativos como estos zapatitos amarillos los cuales pinte yo. Chequea los pasos a seguir aqui.

DIY Studded Sandals :: Manualidad Sandalias Tachuelas

Hi dolls! I'm baaaack! I'm sorry for the absence. I had a great time with my husband visiting a couple of dear friends in Chicago (OOTD and pics coming soon). I did this project before I left, but I didn't have a chance to post it. I had this idea for months and I finally  got around to doing it. I only wore these sandals a couple of times since I bought them years ago.

Hola muñecas! Ya volviiiii! Lo siento que estuve ausente. Mi esposito y yo fuimos de viaje a Chicago a visitar a una querida pareja de amigos. La pasamos super ! (fotitos/vestuario vienen pronto). Hice esta manualidad antes de viajar pero no tuve tiempo de subirla. Esta idea estuvo en mi cabeza ya por mucho tiempo y ahora que la hice me siento mas aliviada. Use estas sandalias solo un par de veces desde que las compre.

You'll need :: Necesitaras

• A pair of sandals. / Un par de sandalias.
• A pencil (to mark the hole location). / Un lapiz para marcar los puntitos.
• Leather punch(for the big holes). / Perforadora de cuero.
• Dart or Ice Pick (for the small holes). / Use un dardo para los huequitos pequeños.
• Studs (rounded and square from Michaels) /  Tachuelitas (use redonditas y cuadraditas de Michaels).

Step 1: Mark the hole locations with dots.

Paso 1: Marca donde pondras las tachuelitas.

Step 2: Make the holes. I used the leather punch for the larger holes and a throwing dart for the smaller holes.

Paso 2: Hace los huequitos. Use la perforadora de cuero para los huecos grandes y el dardo para los huecos pequeños.

Step 3:  Place the studs in the holes and fold the legs back (like in the picture below). Make sure you bend them so they are flush against the leather and won't cut or scrape your feet.

Paso 3: Agrega las tachuelas y dobla las patitas (como en la foto de abajo). Asegurate que esten bien dobladas y un poco incrustadas en el cuero para que no te roce la piel.

Tip: You can also glue a small strip of fabric or leather over the folded legs of the studs as additional protection.

Consejito: Puedes agregar/pegar un pedazon de tela o cuero a lo largo de las patitas como extra proteccion.
