Si quieres formar un atuendo interesante, agrega accesorios que cautiven la mirada. Ej:: Estos accesorios como la cartera, aretes, sandalias y esmalte de uñas cautivaron mis ojos primero ;) Accesorios coloridos y de interesantes formas. Hasta tu peinado puede ser tu accesorio como aqui que use el pelo levantado.

Airport Style

Creo que uno debe sentirse comoda cuando hay que viajar y mas aun cuando tu  vuelo es bien largo. Vestir jeans es siempre comodo para eso. Solo me puse una remera blanca y ya esta lista..oh pero para hacer que el look se vea mas interesante, opte por usar mi bufanda de color fosforescente, mis lentes grandes y mi cartera de color cognac. Esas 3 cositas hicieron que mi simple remerita blanca y jeans se vean un poco coqueto ;). Otra cosita, siempre trato de llevar una bufanda en el avion porque usualmente es frio. 

I believe one has to feel comfortable when it comes to travel. And more if your flight is a long one. Wearing jeans is always comfortable for traveling. I just put on a white t-shirt and I was ready to go..ooh but to make the outfit look more interesting and eye catching, I chose my neon scarf, my big sunglasses and my cognac leather handbag. Those 3 items made my simple t-shirt and jeans look much better ;) . One of the things I always carry with me is a scarf because it tends to be cold on the airplane. 

 hehehehe..me, always eating...(ask anybody who knows me;)

I got this top in 2012 and I've only worn it a few times, can you believe it! I can actually see its potential, since it can be paired with any bottom as long as I choose any color from its patterns. I wanted to wear it as soon as Summer started, but guess what; It doesn't fit very well :( I gained some weight. I tend to gain weight in my upper body and belly :/ cuak! (just being honest ♥ ). I know I'm gonna wear it again since I'm planning in getting in shape. Has this ever happened to you?

Actualmente, puedo ver el potencial de esta pieza ya que se puede combinar con muchas cosas; siempre que sea con cualquier color de los que lleva en si. Lo quise vestir ni bien el verano empezo, pero adivina que; no me queda :( Es que subi de peso. Yo suelo subir de peso en la parte superior de mi cuerpo, como los hombros, torso, espalda y panzita y no las lolas :/ cuak! (solo siendo honesta ♥ ). Se que lo vestire otra vez ya que planeo en ponerme en forma. Te ha pasado cosas comno estas?

Pastel Combo: Mint / Yellow / White

Pastels, pastels, pastels !!! One of the hottest trends for this Season. I'm so happy I got to buy these pieces couple of yeas ago :) It just feels so refreshing wearing these colors. One of the keys to have in mind for this season is to buy pastel colored jeans. You will get many different ideas to pair them with, you'll see. You can pair them with white, earthy colors, bright colors, pastels and even black. You can team them up with pumps, high heels, wedges, flats and sneakers. I'm a girl who loves to wear heels, although I don't wear them on a daily basis because wearing flats are easier on my back. We can still look cute and chic wearing flats, don't you think?
ps: One of the trendy actresses who wore flats was Audrey Hepburn, she rocked !

Colores pasteles es una de las grandes tendencias para esta Primavera/Verano y estoy emocionada de vestirlo!. Es tan refrescante usar esos colores. Una de las cosas que debemos tener en mente es invertir en pantalones vaqueros de color pasteles. Vestir vaqueros te dara muchas ideas de atuendos. Lo podras combinar con blanco, colores terrosos, fluorescentes (con cuidado), pasteles y hasta con negro. Los podras vestir con tacos altos, bajos, con balarinas y hasta con zapatillas. Yo soy una chica a quien le encanta vestir tacos altos, aunque no los usos en mi rutina diaria ya que usar balerinas es mucho mejor para mi espalda. Podemos seguir viendonos lindas y sofisticadas vistiendo balerinas, no crees?
pd: Una de las actrices muy fashionistas quien vistio balerinas era Audrey Hepburn, se veia divina !

Earthy Colors Look - Colores Tierra Atuendo

I like how Wikipedia define the meaning of Earthy colors. I quote "Earth tone is a color scheme that draws from a color palette of browns, tans, greys, greens, oranges, whites, blues and some reds. The colors in an earth tone scheme are muted and flat in an emulation of the natural colors found in dirt, moss, trees and rocks. Many earth tones originate from clay earth pigments, such as umber, ochre, andsienna."
You see, earthy colors doesn't have to be lifeless. We should get inspired by them when we don't know what to wear.
I like the jeans I wore because of the orange shades. I wanted to add a bright pop of color by wearing these yellow pumps painted by me. Check it out how to do it here.

Ellos lo definen asi "los tonos tierra son colores que vienen de una paleta de colores como los marrones, bronzeados, grises, verdes, anaranjados, blancos, azules y algo de rojos. Estos colores son encontrados en la tierra, arboles y rocas. Muchos colores tierra som originados de los pigmentos de la tierra como el amber, ochre y siena." 
Ya ves, colores tierra no quiere decir que sean colores sin vida. Deberiamos inspirarnos en estos colores tierra cuando no tengamos idea de que vestir. 
Me gusta estos pantalones que vesti porque tiene toquecitos de color naranja. Quise agregar colores llamativos como estos zapatitos amarillos los cuales pinte yo. Chequea los pasos a seguir aqui.

Lady in Green and Cream

A Throwback Outfit:
I wore this outfit two Saturdays ago to an event with the White House Hispanic Community Action Summit. There many forums that touched many topics regarding the Hispanic Community in this country. So, for this event I wanted to look sophisticated, feminine and soft and what a better choice than a midi skirt in cream color and a silk blouse. I teamed them up with these high heel sandals so that I could look less short ;)  I did bring my ballerinas in case I got tired, although I spent most of the time sitting down ^^ . Check out a similar outfit I wore in May.

Vesti este look dos Sabados atraz para un evento con la Casa Blanca Comunidad Hispana Accion Cumbre. Habia varias forums donde hablaban diferentes topicos en cuando a nuestra comunidad Latina en este pais. Fue muy interesante e enriquecedor. Para este evento quise vestir sofisticada, femenina, recatada y delicada y que mejor manera que vestir una falda a la pantorrilla de color crema y una blusa de seda. Vesti mis sandalias de taco alto asi no me veia chaparra :) jejeje.. Lleve mis balerinas por si me cansaba, aunque pase casi todo el tiempo sentada. Chequea un look similar a este el cual vesti en el mes de Mayo> aqui

I love this clutch because is not loud for this outfit, but at the same time stands out. I like its earthy colors.

Zara White Jeans and Floral Blouse

Hoy: Sabados de Recuerdos

yay! I have finally found the perfect white jeans! I already had one but the fit wasn't great and the legs were flare. Since I don't have a small waist nor wide hips, I have trouble finding jeans. So here I'm giving you my approximate measurements to give you an idea. Around my waist is approximately 31 inches, high hip is 37 and low hip is 38. So there, if you have similar measurements and you have trouble finding the perfect jeans, you should try Zara's.

Spanish / Español: siiii!!! Finalmente encontre el perfecto pantalon blanco. Ya tenia uno pero no me quedaba tan bien y aparte la piernas eran un poco amplias. Como no tengo una cintura pequeña ni caderas grandes, siempre tuve problemas encontrando pantalones que me queden re bien. Es por eso que aqui te comparto mis medidas para que tengas una idea. De cintura tengo aproximadamente 31 pulgadas (78cm), alta caderas 37 pulgadas (94 cm), y de caderas bajas 38 pulgadas (96.5 cm). Si vos tenes medidas similares, deberias tratar los pantalones de Zara, a ver como te quedan.

Neon and Cream

This skirt adds a feminine touch to the outfit while the neon top adds fun, and that's why I love this combo. And what can I say about the shoes, but that they add a soft touch of sexiness. This time I didn't want to have a handbag because I thought I could use the sunglasses case instead (and I liked it). Maybe next time I do a DIY project turning my hard sunglasses case into a fancy clutch. I already have an idea ;)

Esta falda agrega un toque femenino y delicado mientras este top fosforescente agrega un poco de diversion. y es por eso que me encanta esta combinacion.Y que puedo decir sobre las sandalias, sino que agregan un toque sexy. Esta vez no quise usar cartera porque pense que podria usar el estuche de mis anteojos como carterita. Y me gusto. Creio que hare otro proyecto de "Hazlo Tu Misma" donde convertire el estuche duro de mis anteojos en una carterita. Ya tengo una idea ;)
