Belated Christmas' Outfit

During this time, we feel wearing red, gold, silver colors, and sequins as some of the features for the holidays. This year I wanted to wear red/wine colors and sequins to celebrate Christmas. The weather here in Florida is less cold than in Virginia, so I decided to wear a sequined tank top and a light blazer, but to keep it a little bit warm for the cool night, I wore this corduroy pants. I totally planned to bring my nude pumps with me for this trip(to try them with this outfit) but sometimes things just do not come out like we plan (I forgot my nude pumps at home). I have to confess that this time it was more of the last minute packing. It is always better to plan ahead, so next time I'll have to do that.

Wearing this outfit with these sequined flats is cute and comfortable :) How was your Christmas night?

 I wore:
Dorothy Perkins jacket
Calvin Klein sequined top
Urban Outfitters corduroy pants
Asos black clutch
Steve Madden black pumps and Chinese Laundry flats got them through

Holidays Nail Polish Idea

Brillemos!!! siiii!!!

Let's sparkle!!! yay!!! Something like French Manicure Style... just be careful of applying too much and causing bulges of product (like on my ring finger). First, apply the dark color and once it is dried apply the sparkle nail polish. The top coat is the final step. I used Sally Hansen brand on Vivid color (old) and "200 Strobe Light". I hope you enjoy this idea.

Bomber Jacket is a Keeper

Bomber Jackets are classic and they have been around for ever. Fashion has frequently made different versions of it. One of the things I like about bomber jackets is that accentuates the waist. I recently purchased this jacket from during Black Friday sale. The color, the material, the cut is great, but there is one thing that makes me wonder whether I keep it or not. It's a little tiny bit tight on the boobies area :(... so, should I keep it and wear it like I wore it in the pictures? does it have to leave room for more clothes to be worn underneath? What's your opinion?

3 Warm and Cozy Outfit Ideas

Hi darlings, I wish I have more time to spend posting outfits. I'm just so busy at school. I decided to post these 3 outfits together.

As many of you have already noticed, I like to wear relax, casual, basic type of clothes because I feel comfortable, relax, and easy breeze. This time I wanted to wear Black and Brown colors and at the same time I wanted to add some interesting texture like my faux fur vest and flats.

Comoda y abrigadita con mi ponchito, una de las razones que me gusta Otono. de vestir ropa abrigadita :D ! Espero les guste ..besos !
I really enjoy wearing my ponchito. One of the reasons I like Fall is to wear cozy clothes :D !! hope you like it

I really like slouchy sweaters because besides making feel warm, they make me feel cozy and comfortable. I played a little with textures and I liked it. The leopard heart of the top goes nicely with the red sweater and I also like how the sparkles of the flats go with the faux fur bag :)

Black Friday Outfit Ideas and Tips

Hi dear readers.
I created these outfit ideas specially for Black Friday, since you are going to be running around, you need to be comfortable. I put together 2 outfits. One for a cold day and the other for a colder day.  Don't forget to check my tips down below for your shopping day. I hope you like them. Happy Thanksgiving!!

Idea # 1

Idea # 2

My Black Friday Shopping Tips

  1. Have a budget so that you will not over spend
  2. Review your wardrobe before going shopping, so you don’t buy duplicates or stuff that doesn’t go with anything.
  3. Make a list of The Must Gifts you are planning to buy since the holidays are coming. Do not forget to ask for gift receipts.
  4. Since you already know what you need. You can check many store websites to see which price sticks to your budget. You can buy it online or you can buy it at the store. Don’t forget to print the coupons.
  5. Check the Mall schedule. They will have a list of all the stores and the discounts they offer.
  6. Wearing comfortable shoes is a must, so that you can run around.
  7. A cross-body handbag is more comfortable to have. You will have both hands free.
  8. Limited items. Wallet, cellphone, coupons, a bottle of water, some snacks or chewing gums, and ponytail holders in case your hair gets in your way.
  9.  Do not get tempted to buy things you don’t need. Remember your budget and stick to it.
Good luck !

I kept my accessories simple because the thing I wanted to stand out was the print of the dress. I hope you like this Outfit Idea. What do you tend to wear for your anniversary?

The Power of the Green Ponte Dress

I have been looking for a dress in this green color since I watched one of the Kahlua commercials where the actrees Ana de la Reguera wore a green dress. I fell-in-love with that color and I knew I would have to find something similar. So, when I saw this dress on the website of Dorothy Perkins, I added it to my shopping bag right away.
Yesterday was my third anniversary. and I posted on my blog a SOS, needing help, because I didn't know what to wear to a surprise dinner with my husband. I had planned this outfit in my mind, but had intended to wear it for this weekend coming since we had already made plans.
I ended up following my heart, and I wore my brand new green dress and leopard pumps for one of the most important occasions in my life. I'm glad I wore this outfit because my husband loved it a lot, he said I look very wifey, beautiful and classy and sexy :D .  I'm blessed and happy to have found the love of my life. Now, I have to plan my outfit for this coming Saturday night ;)
I wish you the best of the best for each of you, May your dreams come true and may your hearts be full of love. God bless you all.. xoxo :) !!!

With my husband, the love of my life, he is a blessing from God :D !

This time, I wanted to look more wifey, classy and what better way that a dress inspired by the 60's, which style was based on a-line with bold colors and clean, geometric lines.
What I wore:
Dorothy Perkins dress
Asos trench Coat
Asos clutch
Steve Madden pumps
Jewelrymint blacelet
and the RING was made by me.

Equestrian Prints

horsies horsies !!! I love horses, and so when I first saw this type of print for Fall/Winter, I felt in love with it. This print reminds me of the panthera tie blouse by Marc Jacobs which is too expensive for my wallet!!!. It’s a good thing to have affordable stores such as Forever21 in order to fulfill our cravings ;)
This is a classic black outfit with a fun and chic cardigan. I enjoyed pairing it with these gorgeous red wedges and also with this cute clutch that has a red zipper putting the whole outfit together in a nice coordination. The color of the clutch is similar to the horses and the color of the zipper to the wedges.

What I wore:
tank top, horse print cardigan$17.80 : Forever 21
Wedges: Urban Outfitters
Leggings: (old)
Clutch: I made it :D ..hope you all like it ^^

Unexpected Outfit

Hi girls, Have you always have had time to prepared what you are going to wear? No, right, me neither that’s why sometimes, we have to improvise, just like the day I wore this outfit. We had to go for a dinner with a friend right after I left college. I wanted to look more fashion forward, so I threw on these cool boots and wore this great bag. How great that some accessories and a cool pair of shoes can turn an easy low profile outfit into a more styled one.  I got these beautiful boots for $39.00 originally $189.00 that’s why I love I recently got this F21 shirt for $15.80.

Thanks for reading and Happy Friday !!!

Houndstooth Trend. Fall-Winter 2011/2012

I've seen this trend everywhere. If you have had this trend sleeping in your closet for years, now it's the time to pull it off. We have seen Houndstooh pattern rocked the runways in many designer's collection, and just to mention a few, here are some pictures of Salvatore Ferragamo Fall-Winter 2011/2012 Collection and Maria Cornejo Fall-Winter 2011/2012 Collection.

Salvatore Ferragamo

Maria Cornejo

Some Celebrities are already rocking this trend. You can rock houndstooth patterns from head to toe like Lady Gaga or wear it on the top or bottom. And, if this is too much for you, you can try to add a touch of Houndstooh in your accessories like Ashley Greene's bag and Eva Rachel Wood's shoes. Try to have fund and tell me how it goes. work it girl, work it !
ps: I can't wait to find some clothes or accessories so I can rock this trend :) ! If I knew this trend would be so strong right now, I would have kept a sweater that I got when I was a teen hehehe.

 Thank you for reading.
xoxo !!
