Airport Style

Creo que uno debe sentirse comoda cuando hay que viajar y mas aun cuando tu  vuelo es bien largo. Vestir jeans es siempre comodo para eso. Solo me puse una remera blanca y ya esta lista..oh pero para hacer que el look se vea mas interesante, opte por usar mi bufanda de color fosforescente, mis lentes grandes y mi cartera de color cognac. Esas 3 cositas hicieron que mi simple remerita blanca y jeans se vean un poco coqueto ;). Otra cosita, siempre trato de llevar una bufanda en el avion porque usualmente es frio. 

I believe one has to feel comfortable when it comes to travel. And more if your flight is a long one. Wearing jeans is always comfortable for traveling. I just put on a white t-shirt and I was ready to go..ooh but to make the outfit look more interesting and eye catching, I chose my neon scarf, my big sunglasses and my cognac leather handbag. Those 3 items made my simple t-shirt and jeans look much better ;) . One of the things I always carry with me is a scarf because it tends to be cold on the airplane. 

 hehehehe..me, always eating...(ask anybody who knows me;)

Fan of Color and Polka Dots

A Throwback Outfit...
Recordando este Look..

I'm such a fan of color and polka dots and these pieces are just perfect for that. I got these jeans last year at JCPenney and the blouse at Burlington Coat Factory. I wanted to wear black and white on top and on my feet and I think this polka dots with the lace shoes go perfectly. They just add a touch of femininity to the whole outfit while the colored pieces add a fan vibe to the look. I enjoyed pairing these two accessories and I think the colors of the turquoise necklace with the pink bag go beautifully together. 

Español: Me encanta los colores y los lunares y que mejor piezas que estas para demostrarlo. Compre todas las piezas el año pasado except el collar que lo compre este mes. Quise usar negro y blanco arriba y en mis pies y creo que esta blusa de lunares va muy bien con estos tacos de encaje. Le da un toque bien femenino a todo el look mientras las piezas de color agrega un toque divertido. Me encanto poner juntos este collar turquesa con este bolso rosado. 

I believe polka dots will never go out of style because is such a classy pattern. But if someone says that they are out, I would still wear it anyways because I chose what to wear based on what I like and not base on what a system dictates ;)

Black stilettos and pencil skirt are a great combo that adds elegance, sexiness, and glamour to a girl's look. Those two items are some of the must-have in any woman's wardrobe. Any woman should spend money on basics pieces because they are timeless, ageless and seasonless. Here I paired my pencil skirt and stilettos with one of the hottest trends "Bright Colors" to make me stand out from the crowd. This is my bold neon green sweater. Trends come and go but your basics pieces stay with you all year around. Another trend is Chunky accessories and here I wore a chunky necklace but soft colors, and I decided to use my metallic clutch since it's color blends well with the color of my necklace. Which are your basic pieces? What a Little Power Outfit !!!

Hi dolls! I hope you are having a beautiful weekend.

Last weekend, my babe and I went to watch a ballet "Matthew Bourne's Sleeping Beauty" . It seems to me that in the old times when people went to the ballet or the opera, they would dress in their best. They would bring  glamour to their nights out. Nowadays, everything is more casual, and I'm saying this because every time we go to these events, I see people wearing jeans, t-shirts and even sneakers to which I have nothing against. It's great to wear whatever makes you feel great and comfortable. Sometimes the dress code is clear but in this case there was none. However, I still wanted to go looking good to spend a beautiful anniversary night with the man I love.

Hola lindas!!! Espero que esten pasando un lindo fin de semana.

El fin de semana que paso, mi esposito y yo fuimos a ver ballet llamado "Matthew Bourne's Sleeping Beauty". Me parece que tiempos atraz la gente se vestia con lo mejor que tenian. La gente traia ese toque glamoroso a sus noches. En nuestros dias, todo parece mas casual, y digo esto ya que cada vez que vamos a ver ballet, opera o escuchar musica clasica, el publico se viste en vaqueros, camisetas y hasta zapatillas a lo cual no estoy en contra. Esta bien vestir lo que quieras y lo que te haga sentir comoda. A veces hay requisitos de vestimenta para ciertos eventos; en este caso no hubo ninguno. De todas maneras yo quise vestirme linda para una hermosa noche de aniversario junto al hombre que amo.

Some people don't like to wear vibrant colors during Autumn or Winter, but I think it' s good to take the chance to play around with it. My love for neon-yellow came a couple years ago when I started learning the dressing up game. So this time, I wore this gorgeous hue in a more autumn way by pairing it with classic black. Black goes with everything! And adding blue to this was a fascinating touch making me feel even happier. And what can I say about this leather jacket but that it adds an edgy touch. It's definitely another great bargain from goodwill!

A veces a las personas no les gusta vestir colores vibrantes durante Otoño o Invierno. Yo creo que es bueno tomar riesgos o salir de nuestra zona de comodidad. Mi amor por el color vino hace un par de años atraz cuando empese a aprender a gozarme con la idea del vestuario. Asi es que esta vez quise usar este color amarillo en una manera mas Otoñal mesclandolo con el clasico negro. Todo va bien con negro! Y agregar azul fue un toque fascinante que me hizo sentir aun mas feliz :).  Y que puedo decir sobre esta chaqueta de cuero sino que agrega un toque opuesto a femenino lo cual hace de este atuendo mas interesante. Esta chaqueta es otra buenisima compra que encontre en las tiendas de goodwill.

Who doesn't like great bargains? I got this Christopher Kon clutch at a thrift store and it's in a great condition. The leather has this beautiful animal like texture that stands out. Combining it with these Michael Kors blue pumps was a must since they look so good together. They add that  gorgeous contrast and pop of color to the outfit.

A quien no le gusta buenisimas ofertas? Yo compre esta carterita de Christopher Kon en una tienda de goodwill la cual esta en muy buenisima y linda condicion. El cuero tiene una bella textura que sobresalta. Creo que poniendolo junto con estos zapatos azules fue una buena idea ya que se ven lindo juntos. Ellos agregan un toque de color lindo y de contraste al atuendo.

Hello dolls! I hope all of you are doing great. I'm sorry I was absent, my health hasn't been great lately but I feel better now :)

Today I want to share an idea of a casual look I wore last Sunday, to a museum. I like this maxi skirt not only because of its stripes but also because of the two slits that it has on each side. Love to have that peekaboo feature to show some legs and my favorite studded sneakers ;) I think black and white stripes look cute with a denim jacket and some yellow touches. Hola lindas! Espero todas esten bien. Lo siento que estuve ausente, mi salud no estaba bien ultimamente pero ya me siento mejor :)

Hoy quiero compartir un atuendo casual que vesti este Domingo que paso para ir al museo. Me gusta esta falda no solo porque es de rayas, pero tambien por sus aberturas en los costados ya que sirve para mostrar un poquin de piernas ;) y estas zapatillas con tachuelitas. Yo creo que las rayas blancas y negras se ven bien cuando se combina con una chaqueta de jean y color amarillo. Espero te guste esta combinacion, muchos cariños ~ Elsey

As many as you know, I tent to wear casual footwear not only because I like to be comfortable but also because of some health issues with my back. So, on that note I wanted to share how I wore these cute studded sneakers. It is possible to look cute, chic and cool wearing a pair of non-heeled footwear ;) I loved pairing them with this 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target bag.

Earthy Colors Look - Colores Tierra Atuendo

I like how Wikipedia define the meaning of Earthy colors. I quote "Earth tone is a color scheme that draws from a color palette of browns, tans, greys, greens, oranges, whites, blues and some reds. The colors in an earth tone scheme are muted and flat in an emulation of the natural colors found in dirt, moss, trees and rocks. Many earth tones originate from clay earth pigments, such as umber, ochre, andsienna."
You see, earthy colors doesn't have to be lifeless. We should get inspired by them when we don't know what to wear.
I like the jeans I wore because of the orange shades. I wanted to add a bright pop of color by wearing these yellow pumps painted by me. Check it out how to do it here.

Me gusta como Wikipedia da la definicion de Colores Tierra. Ellos lo definen asi "los tonos tierra son colores que vienen de una paleta de colores como los marrones, bronzeados, grises, verdes, anaranjados, blancos, azules y algo de rojos. Estos colores son encontrados en la tierra, arboles y rocas. Muchos colores tierra som originados de los pigmentos de la tierra como el amber, ochre y siena." 
Ya ves, colores tierra no quiere decir que sean colores sin vida. Deberiamos inspirarnos en estos colores tierra cuando no tengamos idea de que vestir. 
Me gusta estos pantalones que vesti porque tiene toquecitos de color naranja. Quise agregar colores llamativos como estos zapatitos amarillos los cuales pinte yo. Chequea los pasos a seguir aqui.

A Flash Back of My Unconventional Ensemble

Una Mirada hacia el pasado de mi Mescla No Comun 

They said that Rules are meant to be broken, and in this case I agree. When I made these bleached jeans, I imagined some outfits but nothing like this one. I thought that I would have limits dressing these jeans up because they already bring a lot of drama. I wanted to know how these 3 items would look together even though I knew they are very forceful pieces. My sequin jacket, bleached jeans (how to bleach and how to make them skinny) and my diy neon pumps made this night unforgettable. One thing is for sure, that this outfit is definitely interesting to look at. It's fun and unconventional :)

I hope you like this inspiration and I'm here to experiment for you in case you don't feel like it.

Dicen que las reglas fueron creadas para romperse, y en este caso estoy de acuerdo. Cuando desteñi estos pantalones, me imagine ciertos atuendos pero nada como el que vesti aqui. Pense que tendria limites vistiendo estos pantalones ya que por si mismos agregan bastante drama a como uno se ve. De todas maneras quise poner estas 3 piezas juntas. Mi chaqueta de lentejuelas, pantalones desteñidos y zapatos pintados por mi, hicieron de mi noche una noche inolvidable. Una cosa es segura, que este look definitivamente es interesante a la vista. Es divertido y libre de reglas. 

Espero les guste esta inspiracion y aqui estoy para esperimentar por ti en caso que tu no te animes.

Neon and Cream

This skirt adds a feminine touch to the outfit while the neon top adds fun, and that's why I love this combo. And what can I say about the shoes, but that they add a soft touch of sexiness. This time I didn't want to have a handbag because I thought I could use the sunglasses case instead (and I liked it). Maybe next time I do a DIY project turning my hard sunglasses case into a fancy clutch. I already have an idea ;)
