Para este atuendo quise vestir algo diferente... quise mesclar algunas cosas resaltante las cuales pense que no podria mesclar. Les estoy hablando de Flecos y Lentejuelas. Yo pienso que las mujeres deberian de tener algunas piezas con estos dos toques y jugar con ello. Quizas termines gustando del producto final o quizas no, pero si no lo pruebas nunca lo sabras. Mi producto final casi de 10, y digo casi de 10 porque creo que si hubiera vestido con pantalones largos entonces se veria mejor ;) De todas maneras me senti que estaba dentro de los catalogos de la marca "Free People :)

For this outfit, I wanted to wear something different.. I wanted to mix some feautures I thought I couldn't mix. I'm talking about Fringes and Sequins. I believe every girl should own some pieces of clothes with these statements and play with them. You might end up with something you like or something you hate, but if you don't try you'll never know. The outcome of this experiment was close to being a 10, and I said that because I think if my jeans were longer then it would have been a better look ;)  I still felt like I was inside a Free People cataloge :) .

A Flash Back of My Unconventional Ensemble

Una Mirada hacia el pasado de mi Mescla No Comun 

They said that Rules are meant to be broken, and in this case I agree. When I made these bleached jeans, I imagined some outfits but nothing like this one. I thought that I would have limits dressing these jeans up because they already bring a lot of drama. I wanted to know how these 3 items would look together even though I knew they are very forceful pieces. My sequin jacket, bleached jeans (how to bleach and how to make them skinny) and my diy neon pumps made this night unforgettable. One thing is for sure, that this outfit is definitely interesting to look at. It's fun and unconventional :)

I hope you like this inspiration and I'm here to experiment for you in case you don't feel like it.

Dicen que las reglas fueron creadas para romperse, y en este caso estoy de acuerdo. Cuando desteñi estos pantalones, me imagine ciertos atuendos pero nada como el que vesti aqui. Pense que tendria limites vistiendo estos pantalones ya que por si mismos agregan bastante drama a como uno se ve. De todas maneras quise poner estas 3 piezas juntas. Mi chaqueta de lentejuelas, pantalones desteñidos y zapatos pintados por mi, hicieron de mi noche una noche inolvidable. Una cosa es segura, que este look definitivamente es interesante a la vista. Es divertido y libre de reglas.

Today, I share some sequins with you ;) Do you think that you can wear sequins during holidays? I have great news...you don't have to save your sequined clothes for festive season or fancy events. You can wear them year-round. A black sequined blazer is a great piece that goes great with jeans, dresses, skirts or even shorts. For this particular look, I opted to wear it on top a simple white t-shirt paired with this black jeans and heels. Since a sequined blazer is a statement piece itself, it minimizes the need to wear too many accessories. I wanted to add a little color by wearing red lipstick and nail polish. I didn't go too big with the jewelry.

Hola a todos. Hoy, quiero compartir algo de brillo con ustedes ;)

Piensas que solo se debe vestir lentejuelas durante las festividades? Te tengo buenas noticias....no tienes que guardar esa ropa de lentejuelas para las fiestas o para reuniones elegantes. Tu las puedes vestir durante todo el año. Un blazer de lentejuelas negro es una gran pieza que se ve bien con vaqueros, vestidos, faldas y hasta con shorts. Para este particular atuendo, opte por vestirlo encima de una simple remera/camiseta/top blanco combinado con unos jeans/vaqueros negros y tacos. Como un blazer de lentejuelas es una pieza que se resalta asi mismo, desde ya, la necesidad de vestir muchos accesorios o joyas ya no es urgente. Quise agregar un poco de color al usar lapiz de labios color rojo y esmalte de uñas roja. No eleji joyas muy llamativas.

Little Black Dress - Anniversary Date Night

Every woman should own a simple, elegant black dress. I had a special night out with my husband during the last week, and I didn't have much time to put something together. That's when my LBD (little black dress) came to help me out. I love this dress because of its design and the embellishment of the sequins in one side of the waist area. For some reason I decided to wear everything black, I thought it would be elegant. I only added color on my lips and wore silver jewelry. And as many as have already noticed, I'm into spikes, studs lately, so I chose to wear my studded clutch which added an interesting touch to the whole outfit. If you don't know what to wear to your anniversary date with your husband, a LBD will always look great on you. 

I was so happy to reach another year of marriage with my husband. He is the most amazing, wonderful and kind man I have ever known. He is a blessed from God! the love of my life! 

I wish you all have an amazing love by your side and that you both bless each other's lives.

Wear Sequins Casual

Have you thought about wearing your sequined clothes in a casual way? During Memorial weekend, I thought about it and I went for it. We usually relate sequins with parties or glamorous gatherings. This time I wanted to give it a twist by teaming it up with a simple white t-shirt (since sequins are already the center of attention). I kept my accessories minimal but colorful. I tried two types of shoes, a pair of white flats and a pair of black sandals (I felt comfortable wearing both of them).
ps:  I have to fix this skirt because it's a bit big hehehe..

A few tips:

• If you wear a sequined dress in the day don't try to accessorize a lot by wearing too much jewelry since your sequins already give bling.
• Try to throw your sequined blazer or jacket over a pair of jeans.

Has pensado en usar lentejuelas de una forma casual? Durante la semana de Memorial Day, lo pensé y lo hice. Usualmente relacionamos lentejuelas con fiestas o reuniones glamorosos. Esta vez quería darle un giro diferente vistiendo una simple camiseta blanca (ya que lentejuelas ya son el centro de atención). Mantuve mis accesorios minimalistas, pero colorido. Intenté dos tipos de zapatos, un par de ballerinas blancas y un par de sandalias negras (me sentí cómodo vistiendo ambos).

pd: Voy a tener que adaptar esta falda, porque es un poco grande jijiji..

Consejos: 

• Si usted va a usar lentejuelas en el día no vistas muchas joyas ya que tus lentejuelas ya tienen brillo. 
• Intenta de vestir blazer o chaqueta de lentejuelas con un par de jeans.

Belated Christmas' Outfit

During this time, we feel wearing red, gold, silver colors, and sequins as some of the features for the holidays.This year I wanted to wear red/wine colors and sequins to celebrate Christmas. The weather here in Florida is less cold than in Virginia, so I decided to wear a sequined tank top and a light blazer, but to keep it a little bit warm for the cool night, I wore this corduroy pants. I totally planned to bring my nude pumps with me for this trip(to try them with this outfit) but sometimes things just do not come out like we plan (I forgot my nude pumps at home). I have to confess that this time it was more of the last minute packing. It is always better to plan ahead, so next time I'll have to do that.

 Wearing this outfit with these sequined flats is cute and comfortable :) How was your Christmas night?
