Vestir mi blusa de lino con jeans es siempre una buena idea rapida para salir de apuros. Es comodo y simple, pero a veces puede ser medio aburrido. Es por eso que agregue accesorios y joyas que tornaran este atuendo en algo mas lindo e interesante. Agregue colorida cartera y zapatitos y bella joyeria. Me hubiera encantado tomar mejores fotos de las joyas porque la verdad que estan muy bonitas. Me encanta el pop de turquesa y verde que estas joyas agregan a todo el atuendo.

Wearing my linen blouse with jeans is always a quick outfit idea that have saved me many times. This style is comfortable and simple, buy sometimes can be plain. So, that's where accessories come to play a great interesting role. I added these colorful handbag and flats and gorgeous jewelry. I wish I had taken better pictures of the jewelry because they are beautiful. I like the pop of turquoise and green color that the jewelry adds to the outfit.

Lady in Green and Cream

A Throwback Outfit:
I wore this outfit two Saturdays ago to an event with the White House Hispanic Community Action Summit. There many forums that touched many topics regarding the Hispanic Community in this country. So, for this event I wanted to look sophisticated, feminine and soft and what a better choice than a midi skirt in cream color and a silk blouse. I teamed them up with these high heel sandals so that I could look less short ;)  I did bring my ballerinas in case I got tired, although I spent most of the time sitting down ^^ . Check out a similar outfit I wore in May.

Vesti este look dos Sabados atraz para un evento con la Casa Blanca Comunidad Hispana Accion Cumbre. Habia varias forums donde hablaban diferentes topicos en cuando a nuestra comunidad Latina en este pais. Fue muy interesante e enriquecedor. Para este evento quise vestir sofisticada, femenina, recatada y delicada y que mejor manera que vestir una falda a la pantorrilla de color crema y una blusa de seda. Vesti mis sandalias de taco alto asi no me veia chaparra :) jejeje.. Lleve mis balerinas por si me cansaba, aunque pase casi todo el tiempo sentada. Chequea un look similar a este el cual vesti en el mes de Mayo> aqui

I love this clutch because is not loud for this outfit, but at the same time stands out. I like its earthy colors.

Español: Me encanta esta carterita porque no es muy llamativa, pero al mismo tiempo se destaca. Me gusta los colores tierra que tiene.

Hi beauties! This time I went a little nuts about black and white stripes LOL ! I thought how about mixing 3 items with these features, so I did it. It was fun, and since it was raining I could use my black & white striped umbrella ;) We took pictures as soon as it stopped raining. This purse is so cute and it reminds me of the little bags I used to have when I was little. It's vertical lines are so trendy right now, I have seen them on the runway and on the streets. I wasn't ready to commit to full vertical stripes yet, that's why I chose to buy this blazer which contains the classic horizontal lines as well as some vertical lines. I wanted to bring out the yellow highlights of the blazer by wearing this necklace so it would be a more cohesive look. I also wore this blazer here. Regarding the shoes, they are very pretty in person and the cut makes them look even more unique.

Hola bellas! Esta vez me fui casi obsecionada con la tendencia de Rayas Blanco y Negro jejeje! Pense que honda si mesclamos 3 piezas de rayas, asi es que lo hice. Fue diverido y como estaba lloviendo pude usar mi paraguas con este estampado ;) Tomamos las fotos ni bien paro de llover. Esta carterita me hace recordar a las que usaba cuando era bien chiquita. Las lineas verticales esta de re-moda, las he visto en las pasarelas y en las calles. Yo no estaba lista a un look completo de rayas vericales, es por eso que opte por un blazer que contiene las clasicas horizontales con un poco de las otras. Quise rescatar el color amarillo del blazer y asi hacer un look cohesivo. Vesti este blazer aqui. Sobre los zapatos, son tan lindos y ese corte que tiene enfrente lo hace ver mas unico.

Orange Winter Coat

Hi everyone! How is your week going?

Let me tell you about my week :/ I only see numbers since I have a Math test (statistics and so) this Friday. Maybe is easy for some of you, but for me is kind of hard since I finish high school in '94 (I forgot a lot about math) and I realized that 80% of the material is new for me (haven't see it while in high school - maybe the school system back home was not that good).

Blogging and sharing my thoughts with you guys helps, believe me!

So here is my new post about an outfit idea and as you can see, it's all about my orange coat :) I paired it with black jeans (classic) and dark brown booties which I love since they are very warm. I decided to go with one of my favorite handbags, 'Dooney &Bourke' whose colors kind of match with the whole outfit ;) . Which item do you like or what other way would you style this look?

Hola a todos! como va tu semana?

Te cuento la mia :/ Solo veo numeros, es que tengo un examen de matematicas este Viernes que viene. Quizas esa materia sea mas facil para algunos de ustedes, pero para mi es un poco dificil ya que termine el colegio en el año '94 (se me olvido un monton) y tambien me he dado cuenta que casi el 80% del material es nuevo para mi (no recuerdo haberlo estudiado en el cole, puede ser que el sistema de educacion no era tan bueno en ese entonces).

Blogging y compartiendo mis pensamientos con ustedes me ayuda, creanme :) !

Bueno, cambiando de tema. Aqui les comparto la nueva publicacion de idea de vestuario y como podran ver es sobre mi abrigo 'anaranjadito' . Lo combine con unos clasicos vaqueros negros y botitas marroncitas oscuras, las cuales amo ya que me mantienen abrigadita. Escogi vestir una de mis carteras favoritas, 'Dooney & Bourke' ya que los colores como que combinan con todo el look ;)

Cual es tu pieza de este look te gusta, o como hubieras estilizado esta combinacion?

Hi darlings!. How was your weekend? I hope it was beautiful. I really like leopard print and when I saw this sweater at Zara's website, I got to have it (besides, the price was great). The print is very pretty because the patterns are not too small nor too big. I chose a simple and classy way to wear it which is with a black skirt. I wanted to add small touches of color by wearing green earrings and red lipstick.

Hola preciosas!  como estuvo tu fin de semana? Espero que lindo.

La verdad que me gusta mucho el estampado de leopardo, asi es que ni bien vi este sweater en la pagina de Zara, lo tuve que comprar (aparte que el precio estaba bueno). Este estampado es bien lindo porque el tamaño no es muy pequeño, ni muy grande. Para este sweater, elegi un estilo simple y clasico, el cual fue vestirlo con una falda negra. Agregue un poquito de color al usar aretes de color verde y paiz de labio rojo.
