Winter Wonderland Glamour: Shift Dress & Fur Coat

Hi dolls! This is my first time trying a cream dress with black tights. I've always had in mind that winter wonderland-look would be white clothes with snow all over. Now, let's talk about the glamour of this look. The fur coat, the shift dress and the black tights and gloves seem to be complimenting each other. Big coats like this were used a lot during the 60's, and a shift dress was a must in every woman's wardrobre. The slickness of its straight lines and the boat neck have that 'je ne sais quoi' that makes a woman look refined. Aundrey Hepburn, Mia Farrow, and Twiggy rocked this style, and we still do nowadays. So a shift dress, fur coat and black tights/gloves can take you back in time where glamour used to be the norm. 

Oh! and I really like the contrast of the black and white ;) and I'm happy with results.

Hola lindas! Esta es mi primera vez vistiendo un vestido crema con medias negras. Siempre tuve en mente una idea de vestuario 'winter wonderland' seria blanco y nieve por todos lados. 

Ahora hablemos del glamur de este look. El abrigo de piel, el vestido suelto, las medias negras y guantes se complementan el uno al otro.  En los 60's, se usaban mucho abrigos grandes como este, y vestidos sueltos era un si o si en el armario de una mujer. Las lineas limpias, lo sueto del vestido y su collar bote tienen 'un yo no se que' que hace que la mujer se vea refinada. Audrey Hepburn, Mia Farrow, y Twiggy vestian este estilo y ahora podemos seguir usandolo. Asi es que vestido suleto, abrigo de piel y medias/guantes negros te pueden llevar en un viaje al pasado donde el glamur era una norma. 

Oh! y me gusta el contraste del blanco y negro ;). Espero les guste esta idea.

Findings & Fundings: Thrifted Skirt & Brand Names

Hi beauties! When it comes to an outfit it's all about findings and fundings. 

Great deals + whay my eyes love + and what my wallet can afford = Good combination. 

I got this denim skirt a a thrift store for $5 and my mom altered it :) See how I wore it before here.

As I mentioned in the previous post, this is my first white coat. I have a white puffy jacket, but a white coat can make any outfit look much sophisticated and feminine. I love white during Winter and you?.

Buenas ofertas, lo que los ojos gusta y lo que la billetera puede cubrir = Buena combinacion.

Compre esta falda de jean en una tienda de segunda mano por $5 y mi mami me la altero :) Mira como la vesti antes aqui. Como les mencione en el post anterior, este es mi primer abrigo blanco. Tengo una chaqueta blanca, pero un abrigo puede hacer de cualquier vestuario/look mas sofisticado y femenino. Me encanta el blanco durante Invierno, y tu?

I have always wanted a sturdy red bag which I gifted myself as an Anniversary, Chirstmas and birthday present..my 3 in 1. This bag is my first serious red bag. I said that because I have had another bag in this hue, but it was for college / everyday use, and you know how we treat those types of bags. When we are sitting down in class, we leave them on the floor, under our seats and sometimes we even kick them (like we do with our backpacks too), right?. That's why this is my first 'seriours' Red Bag. A touch of color like this will make any outfit stand out. Besides, red is my favorite color, and yours?

Siempre quise una cartera roja estructurada, dura, masisa como se dice en mi pais y esta vez me la regale. Fue mi presente de Aniversario, Navidad y de cumpleaños, 3 en 1. Esta cartera es mi primera cartera roja seria. Y digo seria ya que tuve una roja para el college, pero tu sabes como uno trata las carteras que son para el colegio, universidad; uno las pone hasta en el piso debajo de nuestros asientos en las clases y hasta a veces las patea (como a las mochilas), cierto?. Es por eso que esta es mi primera 'seria' Cartera Roja. Un toque de color como este no pasa desapercibido. El rojo es mi color favorito y el tuyo?

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow! lalalala...(song).

I know many of you might be already tired of this cold weather lol. I have to admite that I enjoy snowy days unlike others hehehe.. It might be due to I grew up in a place where we didn't have snow, so only the concept of seeing it, makes me happy :) .. like a little kid.

Yo se que muchas de ustedes ya estan cansadas de este clima frio. Tengo que admitir que disfruto mucho los dias de nieve, no como otros jijiji...Debe de ser que como creci en un lugar donde nunca nieva, tan solo la idea de verla me pone muy feliz, como una niña :)

For this day I wanted to mix two patterns that I like, leopard & stripes ! Leopard print in my accesories and stripes in my sweater. Good idea for next time is to invert this: stripes as accesories and leopard print in my clothes. Since I love snow, I wanted to maintain the spirit of the season by adding this cute winter wonderland vibe coat. Love wearing this frindgy boots, they just made everything look more fun :)

Para este dia quise mesclar dos estampados que me encanta, leopardo y rayas! El estampado leopardo en mis accesorios y las rayitas en el sueter. Una buena idea para despues es invertirlos: Rayas en los accesorios y leopardo en la ropa. Como me encanta la nieve, quise mantener el espiritu de la temporada agregando este abrigo que carga la honda de la maravilla invernal. Me encanto vestir estas botas ya que tienen flecos, haciendo asi del atuendo, algo mas divertido :)
