Hi everyone! How are you?
I'm sorry I was absent. There were many things going on, like getting sick, traveling and graduating...exactly I graduated yay!!!
I'm going to share some outfit ideas pics that I took before getting sick. I wore this casual and fun look on April to walk around Washington DC. It was a beautiful day walking by the Washington Monument and checking out the cherry blossom, and it was a little chilly which gave the chance to wear this cute jacket. I enjoyed pairing it with this teal colored scarf.  Love colors!!!

OOTD Spring Colors:: Yellow, Orange and Khaki

"Beauty without colour seems somehow to belong to another world"
~ Murasaki Shikibu
_______________

Hi everyone! How is it going?
I wanted to share the quote by Lady Murasaki Shikibu. I just read about her and it impacted me. She was a noblewoman and lady-in-waiting, a writer who emerged from Japan's glorious "Heian" period.

My world contains color, and I find beauty in it. If you haven't already noticed, I love color and I tend to wear it more during Spring and Summer. One of the things that caught my attention about Lady Murasaki is that  among many things that were expected for noblewoman, they had to master the art of dressing well including what color to wear when and where. Can you imagine that there is a color for every occasion... interesting!
On this occasion, I wanted to wear a colorful outfit for a spring day. I enjoy these days, you can wear a merino pullover or a blazer to keep you a little warm while the cold wind blows. I think I just became a fan of this color combo ~ yellow(or retro lemon)-orange-khaki and nude ;)
I hope you enjoy this outfit idea..kisses!

All Things Red and Blue

Hi everybody! How you all doing?
The weather around here is warmer..so it seems that Winter has finally given up ;)
Every time I hear the word Spring, I associate it with flowers, colors, fun patterns and denim. Indeed, denim on denim is your best friend since the material is friendly enough to keep you a little cool and a little warm every time the wind blows. Here are some other times I wore denim on denim -> herehereherehere
I wanted to keep it everything on the primary colors, and even though sometimes is hard to pull of red and blue without looking like our beloved American flag, it's worth to give it a try and have fun with the outcome. I chose my red scarf and wedges and paired them with blue colored jewelry. I even did my nails blue. So, when you don't know what to wear, just think about the color wheel and many ideas might follow. Hope you enjoy this post ;)

Hola hermosa gente!
